Virgin Island Water.
One of Creed’s most popular summer fragrances for men and women.
Creed Virgin Island Water was released in 2007. It is based on citruses and coconut. It lasts six hours on the skin with light projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Creed Virgin Island Water Smell Like?
Upon the first spray is a blast of lime and bergamot. Lime is the most noticeable and the one that will grab your attention. Why? It is bright and sour. Think of fresh lime juice. That’s the same idea here.
Within a few minutes, coconut washes over the scent. It is a rich sweetness that calms the intensity of the citruses. The main idea is fresh sweetness, and yes, it stands out.
After 15 minutes, coconut jumps to the forefront, bringing rum nuances. The boozy nuances are fleeting but stay long enough to remind me of a pina colada. The notes mix and mingle for the first hour.
After this, the scent settles into the dry down. Soft white florals and musky nuances are the last addition. The rest of the wear is sweet coconut and a fresh, musky background.

Performance
Virgin Island Water lasts six hours on the skin with intimate projection. The entire wear has a light ambiance around you, only pushing out up to a foot. This is exclusively summer wear as it has no depth to last in cooler temperatures. This performance is with five sprays.
If you live in a four-season climate, you’ll get a solid two to three months of wear. The warmer your climate, the more versatile this becomes.
As for occasions, it’s best for casual wear. Yes, it is a quality Creed fragrance, but it has no special note that makes it stand out for dates or formal occasions. It is great for the office because it has subtle projection.
Lastly, mass appeal and likability are excellent. Who doesn’t like a citrus-based fragrance? For the reasons above, it is a quality aroma and a light projector that is easy for everybody to enjoy.
Is Creed Virgin Island Water Discontinued?
Virgin Island Water is NOT discontinued. It is still readily available on Creed’s official website, retailers, and discounters.
If a fragrance still has an active listing on the brand’s official website, it is still in production. If not, it is often delisted but still in production and sold to retailers and discounters.
If anything changes, I will update this section as soon as possible. To get the news the fastest, sign up for my newsletter. I send all new review articles and any fragrance news. Example: A fragrance discontinuation.
Creed Virgin Island Water Clones
The most similar fragrance is Tommy Bahama, St. Barts. The biggest difference is that St. Barts has a tequila note. However, Creed Virgin Island Water and St. Barts are not a great comparison as the quality of the scents is so vastly different.

Final Words
Creed Virgin Island Water is Creed fragrance priced.
The final burning question is, is Creed Virgin Island Water worth it? No, this is a quality scent, but there are better choices that will give you the same effect. An example would be Creed Millesime Imperial. There is nothing wrong with this fragrance, just better choices for the same price or cheaper.
