Megamare.
The strongest fragrance ever.
Orto Parisi Megamare was released in 2019. It is based on marine accords. It lasts days and fills a building. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Megamare Smell Like?
Megamare is an extremely linear scent. This is a vague descriptor, but it smells like the juice looks. The opening is led by fresh sea air with a salty accent. Followed by a seaweed nuance and synthetic marine accord.
The syntheticness is why many are put off by the scent. When it’s too heavy, it becomes pungent. This is the entire scent for the rest of the wear.
The unofficial Megamare Orto Parisi notes:
- Iodine notes
- Calone
- Seaweed
- Salt
- Musk
- Ambrox
Performance
This is powerful stuff. The longevity is three days and multiple washes. The projection is also huge. This is the type of cologne that you put a small spritz on your belly, then throw a T-shirt and sweatshirt on to try and mask it.
The sillage is just as good. The power of the scent leaves a long scent trail as you move around. The more you move, the better this smells and the further it projects. This performance is with one spray.
This is all-season wear. No season can temper its strength. As for occasions, it is only casual wear. This stuff is so strong that it needs large areas to air out.
Lastly, mass appeal and likability are average. This is definitely a fragrance for acquired tastes. The power of the fragrance is what will be decisive to some.
Final Words
Is Orto Parisi Megamare worth it? It’s up to you. The performance is there. But this is so powerful that it’s hard to wear.
If you try Megamare, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
