What Does Tom Ford Ombre Leather Parfum Smell Like?
The opening starts with the same Leather intensity. In the background are fresh jasmine florals, light cedarwood, and ozonic and watery violet leaf. These three additional notes help temper the intensity of the leather note.
The dry down darkens with a more intense leather note. The violet leaf and florals have weakened. Their void is filled by a powdery orris. The final addition is slightly heavier wood and a degree of warmth.
The rest of the wear is fresh, powdery, leather, and warm woods.

Performance
Ombre Leather Parfum lasts ten hours on the skin with above-average projection. The first three hours, it projects an arm’s length or more. After this period, it slowly recedes. The last two hours, it is a skin scent. This performance is with three sprays.
This is fall, winter, and early spring wear. Like the original, it needs cooler temperatures to temper its strength. I wouldn’t even try to wear it in the summer as I know it would become too intense. As for occasions, it is all. Take it lighter on the sprays in close-quarter settings.
The mass appeal and likability are slightly above-average. This is a very masculine, quality, and charming fragrance. However, the leather note is still decisive. This is more of a love-it-or-hate-it fragrance.
Lastly, the uniqueness is excellent. Yes, it is a flanker of the original, but it puts a unique twist on the leather accord. Compared to all fragrances, not many other scents mimic this quality leather accord while retaining wearability.
Final Words
The most similar fragrance is the original Ombre Leather. The only difference is its subtle cardamom spice in the opening. Other than this aspect Ombre Leather Parfum is an excellent dupe.
The final burning question is, is Tom Ford Ombre Leather Parfum worth it? Yes. This is a unique and quality fragrance; the information above details why it’s a great purchase. However, it would be redundant to own both the Original Ombre Leather and the Parfum version. Sample them both to see what you like best.
