Wanted by Night.
One of the best winter fragrances for men.
Azzaro Wanted by Night EDP is a men’s fragrance released in 2018 and is based on citruses, woods, and warm spices. It lasts 6 – 7 hours on the skin, with average projection.
In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Azzaro Wanted by Night EDP Smell Like?
The opening starts with a fleeting dose of lemon. It grabs your attention and takes you into the “meat” of the fragrance.
Give it 30 seconds. Cinnamon and Cumin will become the focal point. Both are balanced by a rich resinous benzoin note.
After a few minutes, cinnamon will jump to the forefront. There are lingering citric nuances that are quickly fading. It was much more pleasant than I thought lemon and cinnamon would be.
There is a big transition from the first few minutes to the last hours. Benzoin fades soon after lemon. Woody and tobacco notes fill its void, washing over the scent like a tidal wave.
They maintain the same warmth and depth but are darker and more seductive. The more the fragrance develops, the stronger they get. The cinnamon carries over with the same intensity from the opening.
The rest of the wear is wood and tobacco with new smoky accents and cinnamon spice sprinkled on top.

How Long Does Wanted By Night EDP Last?
It’s a nice fragrance if you want a more subtle winter cologne, but I’ll talk about that in a bit.
On the skin, it lasts six to seven hours with average projection. It pushes out one to two feet in the first few hours before receding. This performance is with four sprays.
Azzaro Wanted by Night can be worn for all occasions. This is from a combination of lighter projection and aroma. The lighter projection allows it to be worn in close-quarter settings and never become overwhelming.
When Should I Wear Azzaro Wanted by Night EDP?
However, it is exclusively fall and winter wear. The cinnamon and tobacco accords best fit these times of the year. They’re warm and rich – what most people want on a cold day.
This brings me back to what was alluded to above. Many winter colognes have monstrous projection because they need the strength to last in the cold air.
Whereas, here, it still works well in the colder weather but isn’t ever overwhelming, no matter the occasion. The projection still could be better, but this is a good alternative if you find big projectors overwhelming.
Is Azzaro Wanted by Night EDP Likeable?
Average in this category, too. At times, the combination of warm and rich notes is alluring. Yet, Wanted by Night is not an attention magnet nor an off-putting scent.
Azzaro Wanted by Night EDP Clones and Other Concentrations
Wanted by Night doesn’t have clones. It is a flanker of the original Azzaro Wanted, the most similar fragrance. Another flanker from the line The Most Wanted Parfum is similar but not as similar as the original.
Is Azzaro Wanted by Night EDP Worth It?
I enjoy Azzaro Wanted by Night as a winter fragrance, but it’s not my favorite or go-to. It doesn’t shout any red flags, but it doesn’t shout any green flags.
The Most Wanted Parfum is a better choice for about the same price, wearability, and scent. Give Azzaro Wanted by Night EDP a chance with a sample or decant, but I don’t recommend blind-buying a whole bottle.
Wanted by Night EDP is an excellent cologne and a great winter scent. Yet, don’t just limit yourself to Wanted by Night EDP. Check out the best winter colognes for men.
