3 Best Ferragamo Colognes (2023) Full Review

Salvatore Ferragamo.

It’s a small brand but one worth checking out.

This review will describe the three best Ferragamo colognes. I will detail their smell, performance, and anything else you need to know. The best part is all of these fragrances are quality and affordable.

#3 – F Black by Salvatore Ferragamo

There is black pepper spice and classy lavender right off the bat. It is intense the first few minutes but so well-balanced that it never gets out of hand. This duo is at the forefront for the rest of the wear.

After an hour or so, there is a light tinge of apple and a more noticeable sweet vanilla. They are smooth, and the easiest way to describe them is as rounding off the rough edges.

The rest of the wear is spice, lavender, and light sweetness.

How well does F Black perform? It lasts nine hours with a moderate scent bubble. You can wear this in the spring, fall, and winter. I have tried it in the summer, but it got too intense on the hot days.

As for occasions, this is all but best for dates and formal events.

#2 – Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo EDT

Right off the bat, the spices are something else. They are the perfect contrast to the sweet coffee that is just as prevalent. The main idea here is sweetness and warmth.

A few more minutes into the wear, it gets more interesting. There is a fresh punch of citric orange blossom. And then comes a warm and musky ambroxan.

As the scent develops, the spicy coffee loses strength while the amber fills the void. In the end, the scent finishes with warm amber, wood, and spicy coffee.

Now, the performance is nothing out of this world. It lasts five to six hours with light projection. This is only fall and winter wear for special occasions.

#1 – Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Signature EDP

First, I have to talk about the price. Only $50 for a 100mL bottle? This has great cost for value, to say the least.

The fragrance wastes no time showing its sweetness. There is a quick bliss of orange and spice, and then comes what you’re here for.

It is cypress, cinnamon, and coffee. The cypress is aromatic but somehow fresh. While the cinnamon and coffee feel like you could eat them.

As the scent develops, it is all about cinnamon and coffee. After a couple of hours, they will settle into a leather backbone. The longer the scent sits on the skin, the more intense the leather gets.

Once the base is done developing, the rest of the wear is sweet coffee and leather.

Now, how’s the performance? It will last all day, and the scent bubble is always noticeable. With its unique nature, it would be great for special occasions.

Is Salvatore Ferragamo Perfume Luxury?

Ferragamo is a luxury brand that has old-money accents. It is not the most popular luxury brand but competes with the likes of Chanel, Dior, YSL, and more.

In terms of fragrance, they create quality fragrances that command designer prices. They are never outrageously priced, and on most websites, they can be purchased for half off or more.

Final Words

These are all great colognes. When I first started collecting, discovering the brand took me a little while, but I’m glad I did. All of these fragrances offer quality aromas for an affordable price.

Uomo Signature EDP, for example, is only $40 for a 100 mL bottle. You’ll struggle to find a better winter fragrance at the same price.

I recommend having a Ferragamo cologne in your collection, as none are bad buys.

After you try a Ferragamo cologne, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
