#4 – Spicebomb Night Vision EDP

The opening starts with a cool and subtle fruitiness from a prominent apple note. Within a few minutes, there’s a brighter lemon note, warm spice from red chili pepper, and a mild sweetness from the apple note. In the background, the woody accords sneak up from the base but only give the fragrance depth.

The mid starts with a woody and aromatic fir note, amplified by additional lavender, sage, and rosemary aromatics. They give Night Vision EDP a significant greenness. In the background, rest a light benzoin note with a fresh, balsamic aroma.

The dry down gets significantly woodier. The aromatics linger and give the base freshness but never take away from its darkness.

I get nine hours on the skin with excellent projection in the first few hours. It pushes out an arm’s length or more for the first three hours. After this period, it recedes but maintains a two to three-foot ambiance for the rest of the wear.

Spicebomb Night Vision EDP Performance

  • Longevity: 9 hours
  • Projection and Sillage: Above-average
  • Versatility: Fall and winter for all occasions
  • Most Prominent Notes: Apple, lemon, chili pepper, aromatics, woods, and benzoin

#3 – Spicebomb EDT

The original spicebomb opens with a blast of spices paired with a present citric duo of grapefruit and bergamot. The spices are equal parts pink pepper and cinnamon. The general idea is subtle yet intense warmth. The cinnamon will become increasingly dominant as the wear continues.

The citruses are only present in the initial blast. Into the mid, they fade and give way to a warm dose of saffron and slightly aromatic vetiver. It is more refined than the opening, making it more wearable as the spices aren’t so intense.

The dry down is simple. It’s all about warm spices, cinnamon being the most prominent. There are faint additions of tobacco and leather, but they aren’t as prominent as I thought. They sit behind the spices in the neighborhood of the citruses. This is what you’ll get for the rest of the wear.

This lasts six to seven hours on the skin with great projection. The first two to three hours are an arm’s length. After this period, it recedes and doesn’t become a skin scent until hour six. This is exclusively for fall and winter and all occasions.

Spicebomb EDT Performance

  • Longevity: 6 – 7 hours
  • Projection and Sillage: Moderate
  • Versatility: Fall and Winter for all occasions
  • Most Prominent Notes: Grapefruit, Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Cinnamon, and Vetiver

#2 – Spicebomb Infrared

Upon the first spray, it is sweet, and there is no other way around that. The emphasis on the red fruits at the top is the main contributor. Mixing with the fruits is a mix of spices – cinnamon, saffron, and pepper.

They are blended well, so you can’t pick out each specific spice, but the spiciness has a quality from each. Specifically, the cinnamon is most prominent and amplifies the sweet accord.

The sweetness remains warm as it develops. The fruity notes dissipate and leave behind their sweetness for the rest of the wear. The trio of spices at this point is the focal point. They mingle with the sweetness and give you the “spicebomb.”

The scent simplifies even further in the dry-down. The spices are still prominent and rest on top of the base notes. For the rest of the wear, it is only a bit of tobacco with slight amber woodiness.

Infrared lasts eight hours on the skin with average projection. In the first hour, it’s explosive off the skin, pushing out multiple feet. But after this period, it quickly recedes. This is exclusively fall and winter wear but for all occasions.

Spicebomb Infrared Performance

  • Longevity: 8 hours
  • Projection and Sillage: Moderate
  • Versatility: Fall and Winter for all occasions
  • Most Prominent Notes: Cinnamon, Saffron, Pepper, Tobacco, and Amber

#1 – Spicebomb Extreme

The opening is a big blast of spice and pepper but not aggressive. It will not be like putting your nose above a pepper shaker. A mild grapefruit note rests under the opening duo and calms down the spices. Still, the grapefruit isn’t memorable. Those are the first few minutes.

Some vanilla and tobacco are in the background but not yet prominent.

As the scent develops, cinnamon is present early on and will last for the rest of the wear. Over time, it gains other warm spices, but none are as prevalent as cinnamon.

Once in the dry down, it is all about the dominant tobacco note with a dark, rich, sweet vanilla. This duo dominates with warm spices sprinkled on top for the rest of the wear. As the scent finishes, it highlights its smooth, creamy texture with a deep ambery base.

This lasts 12+ hours on the skin with near room-filling projection, pushing out four to five feet for the first few hours before receding. This is fall and winter wear for all occasions.

Spicebomb Extreme Performance

  • Longevity: 12+ hours
  • Projection and Sillage: Excellent
  • Versatility: Fall and Winter for all occasions
  • Most Prominent Notes: Spice, Pepper, Vanilla, Tobacco, and Amber
