What Does The Scent of Peace for Him Smell Like?

There are three notes present on the first spray. Bright and juicy juniper berry is at the forefront. It is fresh with the supporting notes but still has an aromatic, fern-like aroma.

Bergamot and pineapple play second fiddle in the background. They are both all about a citric and fruity nature. I appreciate how they’re used here. They keep the aromatics fresh but don’t take away from the juniper berry.

This woodiness will get more intense with the addition of cedar in the heart. It brings musk nuances with it. This combination will be a main player for the rest of the wear. To a degree, there is a laundry detergent smell, but not in a bad way.

The rest of the wear is this clean sheet freshness, a cedar base, and lingering fresh fruits. Of the entire scent, the opening is the most pleasant and balanced.

Performance

The Scent of Peace for Him lasts 12 hours on the skin with excellent projection. For the opening, mid, and large portion of the dry-down, the projection fills a room with a six-foot projection. The scent trail is as good. The more you move around, the more this pushes out, the better it smells. This performance is with three sprays.

This is spring, summer, and fall wear. The aroma best fits the warmer weather because of its bright and crisp nature. But it doesn’t lose staying power until the year’s coldest temperatures. You’ll get six to seven months of wear in a four-season climate.

As for occasions, this is all. The projection is intense, but it’s never overpowering. The aromatic and wood accords don’t become “suffocating” as heavy sweet or oud fragrances would. But do moderate your sprays if you’re in close-quarter settings.

Lastly, mass appeal and likability are above average. There isn’t a decisive note about this fragrance; just bright and refreshing with a woody depth. It won’t attract attention like a magnet, but others will enjoy your pleasant aroma.

Final Words

Bond No 9 The Scent of Peace for Him, is worth a sample or decant but not a blind buy or must-have. The scent profile, performance, and wearability are all outstanding, but for less, there are other quality fresh fragrances on the market.

There’s just nothing about this fragrance that makes it stand out. If I pay $300+ for a bottle of cologne, I want a scent like no other.
