What Does Creed Tabarome Smell Like?
The uniqueness of Tabarome Millesime is the peculiar opening of ultra-bright citruses. The tangerine and bergamot combination is equal parts citric and sweet, mainly from the tangerine note. Though the citruses are bright, they never come off as “bitter.”
In an ultra-masculine fragrance, sweet accords are not usually involved. Yet, Creed has a way of reinventing the wheel. Only moments after warm ginger spice becomes present. It breaks up the top notes but doesn’t overpower them.
The citruses dissipate in the heart. A warm sandalwood and tobacco combination fills the void. At this point, it is a deep and bold scent but with a fresh and lively twist.
As Tabarome dries down, it stays very similar. A leathery depth lingers in. The citruses and spices are nearly gone. Tobacco takes the sweet accent. The rest of the wear is wood, tobacco, and subtle leather.

Performance
Tabarome lasts six to eight hours on the skin with moderate projection. It pushes out well for the first couple of hours before receding. I get this performance with three to four sprays.
This is best for spring, fall, and winter wear. Sometimes you can wear it in the summer, but you have to be careful as it gets too intense with the sweet tobacco and wood accords.
As for occasions, it is all. But it best fits formal occasions more so than any other Creed fragrance. This has a vibrant and sophisticated blend of notes that really pops off the skin and grabs attention.
Lastly, mass appeal and likability are above average. This is mainly from the unique twist and quality of the notes. Some may not like the tobacco’s depth and the leather tinge, but more people will enjoy this than dislike it.
Final Words
Unfortunately, Creed Tabarome doesn’t have any great clones. If you want the scent profile, you’ll have to pay the price.
