Viking.
A versatile and quality fragrance.
Creed Viking was released in 2017. It is based on aromatics, greens, and fresh spices. It lasts six hours on the skin, with moderate to light projection.
In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Creed Viking Smell Like?
The opening is a fresh burst of citrus with green and spicy notes. Multiple notes are working together. The ones that really jump out at me are bergamot and spicy mint. Each creates their respective accord.
However, the star of the show is pink pepper. It amplifies the intensity of the spices and provides the scent with a unique, masculine edge. This is the part that Creed calls “firey.”
For a while, it is all about fresh spices. The entire wear, I never felt overwhelmed by them. They were relatively smooth and well-blended.
Citruses fade as the dry-down starts to develop. Lavender and sandalwood fill the void. They combine with spicy mint and pepper, producing an elegant, aromatic aroma. T
he spices never needed it, but lavender soothes them with its calming nature. Sandalwood sits further in the background, acting as a deeper support.

Creed Viking Performance
Viking lasts six hours on the skin with average to light projection. It pushes out up to two feet for the first two hours before receding to a light ambiance.
This can be worn for all seasons and occasions. This stellar versatility is one of my favorite things about Creed Viking, as it combines a sophisticated aroma with all-year-round wearability.
Lastly, mass appeal and likability are above average. Viking isn’t an attention magnet, but it is alluring and will garner more attention than repel it. There are no decisive notes in this fragrance.
If anything, many will find the spicy pepper notes intriguing.
Final Words
Viking is Creed priced. Unfortunately, if you like the fragrance but not the price point, there aren’t any clones. The final burning question is, is Creed Viking worth it?
Yes, I struggled with this decision because Viking is quality and wearable. Still, its aroma is not the best of the brand. I enjoy the intriguing and alluring spice.
However, from the brand, there are better-smelling fragrances. Creed Aventus gives you a different type of effect, but it is a better blend of notes with slightly better performance at the same price point.
I recommend trying a sample of Creed Viking before blind buying a full bottle.
