Hermes Concentrate D'Orange Verte EDT

Hermes Concentrate D’Orange Verte EDT Review – Is it Worth it?

Concentrate D’Orange Verte EDT.

One of the best citrus colognes for men and women.

Hermes Concentrate D’Orange Verte EDT was released in 2004. It is based on citruses, greens, and woods. It lasts six hours on the skin with intimate projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Concentrate D’Orange Verte Smell Like?

Upon the first spray, my nose puckers. The lime note is intense and in my face. There is no “Hey, it’s time to get up” it wakes you up a five-gallon bucket of water. Authentic orange and cut grass accords attempt to round off its intensity. Do they? It takes a few minutes.

The orange lacks a strong citric or bitter nature. It is all about freshness. At the same time, the cut grass is fresh and green. It is the best at balancing out the lime note.

The citruses were in a sprint, not a run. They weaken within a few minutes. Mossy woods and more greens will fill its void. At this point, the scent has shifted to a fresh green scent rather than citric.

Oakmoss is the last addition. The rest of the wear settles on a decent dose of orange freshness and green woods.

Performance

Concentrate D’Orange Verte EDT lasts six hours on the skin with intimate projection. It has the performance of a typical authentic citrus fragrance. The entire wear maintains a light ambiance of one foot.

The sillage doesn’t fair better as it is a light fragrance that doesn’t project better with movement. This performance is with five sprays.

This is exclusively late spring and summer wear. Like the projection, it doesn’t have the depth to push through the colder air. As for occasions, it is all. This may be a simple scent, but it is sophisticated and authentic. It’ll never overwhelm in the office but is sophisticated enough for formal occasions.

These are some of the main reasons it has excellent mass appeal and likability. Authentic citruses and subtle projection. It doesn’t shout for attention but garners it because of its quality.

Final Words

The most similar fragrance is the original D’Orange Verte EDT. The only difference is the original’s lack of woody notes. However, I think it’s needed as it gives the scent depth and helps break up the monotony of the intense citruses.

The final burning question is, is Concentrate D’Orange Verte EDT worth it? Maybe. My favorite part of the entire fragrance is the authenticity of the bright citruses. However, besides this aspect, it’s not anything crazy special.

This is a nice fragrance to have, but it doesn’t add much value to a collection.

Concentrate D’Orange Verte EDT is an excellent cologne and a good one for the summer. Yet, don’t just limit yourself to Concentrate D’Orange Verte EDT. Check out the best Summer fragrances for men. All will shine in the warm weather – no pun intended; you might just find your signature scent.
