What Does Grand Soir Smell Like?
A vanillic and amber fragrance. It is very warm and smooth. There are tinges of spices and smoke to capture your attention throughout. However, this is the entire fragrance.
This is one cologne that you walk in, and people instantly want to know who you are. It smells like a successful businessman with a charming touch.
The best part is the vanilla, which smells like they used natural vanilla extract instead of man-made vanilla. It’s quite close to the authentic oil in your kitchen cabinet with the booziness.

How Long Does Grand Soir Last?
There’s a trend when I review winter fragrances. All of their longevity and projection are outstanding. Grand Soir lasts 12+ hours with room-filling projection.
For most of the wear, the scent bubble is multiple feet with a long and dense scent trail.
As for the seasons, it is fall and winter wear. If you live in a four-season climate, you’ll get a solid six months of wear out this.
You can wear it when it gets warmer in March, but you have to be careful. If it gets too hot, it will become overwhelming.
When Should I Wear Grand Soir?
The occasional wearability is better. Grand Soir can be worn for all occasions. It has a sophisticated and alluring aroma that is excellent for formal occasions and dates.
While still being casual enough to run errands. However, like any strong performer, be careful in close-quarter settings to not overwhelm anyone.
Is Grand Soir Likable?
Lastly, the mass appeal and likability are excellent.
This is mainly from the uniqueness and simplicity of the scent. Neither amber nor vanilla are decisive notes. These are all you can smell; both are high quality. Who can dislike that?

Is Grand Soir Worth It?
Yes. This is one of my favorite MFK fragrances. I enjoy the simplicity of it while getting the classiness and moderately easy wearability.
If you prefer scents with a big difference between the beginning and end, this is not a great choice for you. Yet, in my mind, a scent is either good or bad. Why does it matter if it’s simple?
