Minotaure.
An affordable fragrance for men.
Paloma Picasso Minotaure was released in 1992. It is based on aromatics, vanilla, and wood. It lasts five to six hours on the skin with moderate projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Minotaure Paloma Picasso Smell Like?
An old-school and simple scent.
The initial blast is aldehydes with faintly fresh bergamot. The subtle ambiance that it creates is delightful. It surrounds you in this light cloud of scent. Candied fruits and florals sit underneath.
After a few minutes, they become more prevalent. The freshness of the florals washes over the sweetness and creates an alluring charm.
As the scent progresses, glimpses of vanilla notes are buried throughout the smell. After several hours of fleeting vanilla and the opening notes, the dry down develops. It is a delightful and warm blend of sandalwood, cedar, and amber. Just a simple base – warm and woody.

Performance
Minotaure lasts five to six hours on the skin with average projection. In the first few hours, it pushes out a foot or two and then recedes closer to the skin but never becomes a skin scent. This projection is average but at least wearable.
As for seasons, it is all except the hottest and coldest days of summer and winter, respectively. If you live in a four-season climate, you’ll get a solid ten months of wear out of this.
As for the occasions, it is all. Like the projection, it is a very wearable fragrance.
Lastly, mass appeal and likability are above average. Its only downfall is that it has an old-school tone, but the aromatic and vanilla duo is a very alluring combination.
Final Words
This fragrance can be purchased on discounters and Amazon for anywhere between 30 and $40. The final burning question is miniature worth it?
Yes, this is solely because of the affordable price point. There are no red flags about this fragrance, but there are also no green flags.
I enjoy it, but again, I only recommend it because of its affordable price.
