Voyage Sport.
The brightest fragrance from Nautica.
Nautica Voyage Sport was released in 2016. It is based on aromatics, marines, and greens. It lasts two to three hours on the skin with intimate projection.
In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Nautica Voyage Sport Smell Like?
The opening is brighter than all other Voyage fragrances.
Upon the first spray is a blast of various citruses atop salty marine notes. These notes are more watery than oceanic. Imagine the smell of a saltwater pool with a dose of freshness.
The citruses will weaken 10 – 15 minutes in the wear. This allows the original Voyage DNA to come through.
It brings fresh greenness with less intensity. It pairs well with the top notes, amplifying their freshness. The aquatics in the background are getting stronger into the dry down.
Musk and wood nuances make their way into the base. The musk pairs well with the aquatics, creating a clean, watery smell. The wood notes pair with the greenness.
What’s interesting is their intensity. The woodiness doesn’t smell like a tree. Instead, the greenness makes it smell like a woody vine/plant.
The rest of the wear is musky aquatics atop green wood.

Voyage Sport Performance
Voyage Sport lasts two to three hours on the skin with intimate projection. It pushes out a foot or less for the entire wear. Even if you move around more, this doesn’t project better as it is so light. This performance is with five sprays.
This is spring and summer wear. It doesn’t have the depth to push through the cold air. You’ll get six months of wear if you live in a four-season climate.
As for occasions, it is all. This is both a pleasant and wearable fragrance that won’t offend anyone. This translates to its excellent mass appeal and likability.
There is nothing about Voyage Sport that is decisive, along with the subtle projection, makes for a very alluring and attractive fragrance.
Final Words
There are no similar fragrances to Voyage Sport. Even the original Voyage is not, as it is a much greener fragrance.
The final burning question is, is Nautica Voyage Sport worth it? No.
This is one of the worst cost-for-value fragrances on the market. Many times, people on fragrance forums will say a fragrance has horrible performance even if it is beast mode. Yet, Voyage Sport is actually bad.
I appreciate what the perfumer tried to do with the notes blend, but the performance is a deal breaker.
Voyage Sport is an excellent cologne and a unique one. Yet, don’t just limit yourself to Voyage Sport. Check out the best Nautica colognes. All are fresh and affordable; you might just find your signature scent.
