What Does Profumum Roma Arso Smell Like?

The opening is quite memorable. A pine accord is present right off the bat.

The scent beginnings with pine-sap, cedar, and sticky amber. The pine sap has a chilled and tarry briskness but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. Slightly salty, musky, and sweet ambergris projects the amber accord.

As the scent transcends into the heart. The smokiness gains strength, bringing dark and green coniferous notes with it. It’s like a fall campfire with a touch of warm amber.

The rest of the wear stays the same. However, the notes get darker and more coniferous the longer the wear.

Arso Performance

Arso lasts 12 hours on the skin with above-average projection. It pushes out an arm’s length for the first three hours. After this period, it recedes closer to the skin but never becomes a skin scent.

The sillage is better. This is a dense scent that can hang in the air as you walk around. The more you move, the better this smells and projects.

However, you’ll have to be careful with this intensity. Too many sprays, and you’ll suffocate yourself. This performance is with two sprays.

This is exclusively fall and winter wear. I’ll talk about this later, but the combination of seasonality and smell is one of my favorite aspects about Arso.

As for occasions, it is for formal events and casual wear. This is unique but would be too strong and decisive for the office and dates.

The mass appeal and likability are average. This isn’t a fragrance for compliments. This best fits a collector’s collection, as it takes experience to appreciate the blend of notes.

Lastly, the uniqueness is above-average. There are numerous pine colognes, but the smokiness is a welcomed addition that sets it apart from many other woody fragrances.

Is Profumum Roma Arso Worth It?

Maybe, worth a sample or decant, and it is definitely not blind buy(able).

It has some downfalls. It’s a very linear scent. Deep down, it’s just woods and smoky accents. It’s also costly.

On the flip side, it’s well-blended and a great performer. What I enjoy most is the “fall campfire” type smell; wearing this in the fall is a dream as it matches the setting.

In short, I struggled to determine if Arso is worth it, but now you know everything you need to know. Try out a sample, and let me know what you think in the comments.

This is a great fragrance. However, don’t limit yourself to Arso. Discover the best pine colognes for men here.
