Tom Ford Noir Extreme EDP is a seductive fragrance. Based on warm spices, sweet vanilla, and wood. The performance is just as good as the smell. Lasting 12+ hours on the skin with above-average projection.

What Does Tom Ford Noir Extreme EDP Smell Like?
Upon the first spray is an immediate sweet vanilla accord with a mix of well-blended spices and florals.
The spices encase the vanilla and showcase it like a prize. They are strong at first, but in 10-15 minutes, they give way to sweeter vanilla and a unique note.
The top notes of florals were the least prevalent but gave the opening a light juicy citric nature.
At the same time as the spices transition to vanilla, the florals combine with ambery warmth. It’s an outstanding balance and gives the scent depth.
This all happens in about 15 minutes.
Now you’re in the mid of the fragrance with sweet vanilla and kulfi, while ambery florals rest in the background. If you are unfamiliar with kulfi, it is an Indian dessert. In this case, it comes across as a nutty vanilla ice cream. The nuttiness is similar to pistachio.
Into the dry down, the scent simplifies even further.
It is all about the warm vanilla and amber with prevalent woody notes. The base isn’t anything crazy, but its more straightforward nature is delightful. Creamy and mature for the rest of the wear.

The longevity and projection are as good as the smell. It lasts 12+ hours on the skin with above-average projection. In the first few hours, the projection fills a room before receding.
After this period, it still pushes out 3 – 4 feet for the rest of the wear – strong stuff.
When Should I Wear Tom Ford Noir Extreme?
This strength is a blessing and a curse. It is exclusively fall and winter wear. And occasions, it’s best for special events like dates or formal nights out. The unique and sweet Kulfi note has an extremely alluring touch on a date.
Is Noir Extreme Likable?
Noir Extreme is exceptionally unique because of its interesting blend of notes. But on the flip side, warm spices, woods, and sweet vanilla are nothing new. It isn’t one of one, but it still stands out.
Lastly, compliments and likability.
As alluded to earlier, this is an excellent date night fragrance. Thus, the compliments are going to be amazing. It is also mass-appealing as there are no offensive notes in the fragrance.
Is Tom Ford Noir Extreme EDP Worth It?
Yes. On discounters, a 100mL bottle can be purchased for $165. This may seem expensive if you’re unfamiliar with Tom Ford fragrances, but this is actually one of the most affordable.
Along with this affordability are its excellent performance, smell, and mass appeal. The only downfall this fragrance has is its plastic cap. @Tom Ford, not metal?

Tom Ford Noir Extreme was released in 2015 and perfumed by Sonia Constant. The original Noir EDP was released in 2012, then the Noir EDT version in 2013, and a Noir Extreme Parfum version in 2022.
The Noir Extreme versions are both reformulations of the original noir. Yet, even with the new Noir Extreme flanker, the EDP version is the best.
