Versace Eros EDP was released in 2020. It is based on citrus, vanilla, and wood. It lasts seven to eight hours on the skin with above-average projection.
In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Versace Eros EDP Smell Like?
The opening is loud and grabs attention. Signature Eros mint is the focal point for the first few minutes. A decent dose of vanilla and sweet candied apple are in the background.
After the first few minutes, there is a transition to the sweeter accords. I smell wafts of citruses, but nothing too intense. The opening is all about sweet, fresh, and spicy accords.
Half an hour into the wear, ambroxan and musk nuances come through with intensity. It gives Eros EDP considerable depth and warmth. Once these are added, citruses fade, and sweet vanilla fills its void.
Ambroxan leads the dry down. It is stronger with a heavier focus on warm amber. Woody and leathery nuances have snuck their way in, smoothing over the rest of the base.
The rest of the wear is fresh, sweet vanilla atop wood, amber, and leather.

How Long Does Versace Eros EDP Last?
Versace Eros EDP lasts seven to eight hours on the skin with above-average projection. It pushes out three feet for the first three hours.
After this period, it recedes, never becoming a skin scent. The sillage is excellent. The more you move, the better this smells and projects hence, why it is great for nights out. This performance is with five sprays.
When Should You Versace Eros EDP?
This is all-season and occasion wear. I know this may sound odd if you’re familiar with the EDT version.
Yet, it’s more well-rounded and subtle. But don’t worry; it still shines on a night out. In the high heat of the summer, take it lighter on the sprays.
Does Versace Eros EDP Get Compliments?
The mass appeal and likability are excellent. Why else would this be so good for going out?
The sweet vanilla note with the mint is the part that grabs the most attention in the opening. The vanilla and woods pull you in, in the base. If you’re seeking compliments, this is the fragrance for you.
Is Versace Eros EDP Unique?
Lastly, the uniqueness is above-average. None of the notes are one-of-a-kind, but how they are blended is different. Comparative to the original, it shares much of the same DNA.
Final Words

So, Versace Eros EDP is worth it. I prefer this over the EDT and Parfum as it’s the best of both worlds.
The EDT is too “clubbing geared,” I prefer the EDP as its the same alluring aroma but is tamed for the office and other close-quarter settings.
The Parfum version is as good, darker, and more well-rounded. However, it’s more expensive, and I don’t find the additional price worth the additional benefits.
