Insurrection 2 Pure Review – Everything You Need To Know

Insurrection 2 Pure.

An affordable Creed Aventus clone.

Reyane Tradition Insurrection 2 Pure was released in 2018. It is based on fruity sweetness with a subtle leathery depth. It lasts four to five hours on the skin with light projection.

In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Insurrection 2 Pure Smell Like?

There’s no doubt that it’s an Aventus clone. Yet, it takes the scent profile in a fresher and fruitier direction.

The opening is synthetic, but it is the better part of the fragrance. I notice its lack of quality but am not repulsed by it.

Pineapple, apple, and bergamot lead the opening. I don’t smell much of the apple as the dominant pineapple note suppresses it. Citric bergamot nuances are noticeable, helping amplify the pineapple’s freshness.

Do I enjoy the opening? Yes. Does it knock my sock off? No. It lacks a “wow” factor. The sweetness and fruitiness of the top notes dominate for 15 minutes.

After this period, woody birch lingers in, adding depth to the top notes. You won’t find a strong, smoky faucet in this birch note. It is unfortunate as this accent is one of Aventus’ most noticeable character traits.

The fruit notes weaken after a few hours. A strong addition of leather fills its void. The rest of the wear is fresh, woody, and leathery.

Performance

Insurrection 2 Pure lasts four to five hours on the skin with intimate projection. It pushes out a foot for the first 15-20 minutes, but once the dominant fruits dissipate, so does the performance.

It is a skin scent within an hour for the rest of the wear. I get this performance with five sprays.

This is exclusively spring, summer, and early fall wear. The fragrance is mainly based on the fruity opening, and it needs heat to help it develop and project. If you douse yourself in this, it will work in the winter, too.

But you’ll still have to deal with poor longevity and projection.

As for occasions, it is all. A great office fragrance as it is so subtle.

Lastly, mass appeal and likability are average. More than most other Aventus clones, this heavily emphasizes the fruity sweetness in the opening.

When you first apply, you’ll really grab attention. As the wear continues, it becomes less attention-grabbing as it tries to mimic Aventus with subtle leather nuances.

Final Words

The final burning question is, is Insurrection II Pure worth it? Yes. I enjoy the quality of the notes for the price point most about this fragrance. Insurrection 2 Pure never comes across as synthetic.

However, you can obviously tell the difference between the quality of the notes with Aventus.

The performance is poor, but for around $20, it can’t be beaten; just apply every few hours.
