Veneta Pour Homme.
A unique pine cologne.
Bottega Veneta Pour Homme was released in 2013. It is based on woods, aromatics, and leather nuances. It lasts five to six hours on the skin with light projection.
In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Bottega Veneta Pour Homme Smell Like?
In relation to the smell of pine, Veneta Pour Homme wastes no time. It opens with a mix of fir balsam and spicy additions. The spiciness adds warmth and richness but doesn’t detract from the prominent fir note.
As the wear continues, the scent only gets more subtle. The mid is lighter yet still outdoorsy. It has added herbal and grassy touches of sage and hay. Other notes support these two.
However, they aren’t prominent enough to be explicitly smelled.
Finally, in the base, the quiet woods from the top have melted with leather and musky accents. They create the rest of the scent.

Performance
How Long Does Bottega Veneta Pour Homme Last?
Veneta Pour Homme lasts four to five hours on the skin. This is the biggest downfall of the fragrance. The projection is light. The first one to two hours, it pushes out two feet.
After this, it quickly recedes to a skin scent. The sillage is no different. It doesn’t hang in the air well as you move around. This performance is with five sprays.
When Should I Wear Bottega Veneta Pour Homme?
This is all-season wear. This is one aspect where the subtle projection helps out. Woody dominant fragrances aren’t usually great in the summer because they are too strong.
The same can be said for occasions. It’s subtle enough for the office and unique enough to stand out on formal occasions and dates.
Is Bottega Veneta Pour Homme Likable?
The mass appeal and likability are excellent. This is a masculine fragrance but extremely wearable. It’s never in your face nor shouts for attention. It allows others in your vicinity to experience your aroma without being consumed by it.
This is an excellent choice if you want the ultra-masculine version of a compliment-getter.
Is Veneta Pour Homme Unique?
Lastly, the uniqueness is excellent. This is more than just a pine fragrance. Adding pimento spice and leather nuances makes Veneta Pour Homme stand out above many other pine colognes.
Final Words
The most similar fragrances are the flankers Extreme and Parfum. They all share the same backbone but with their respective tweaks. These versions are slightly better performers but not as well-blended.
The final burning question is, is Bottega Veneta Pour Homme worth it? Yes, the performance is a downfall, but other than this, there are no red flags. I enjoy this because it’s an easy spray-and-go but still masculine.
Many times wearable fragrances are just fresh with a wood base, but Veneta Pour Homme puts a unique twist on wearability.
Veneta Pour Homme is an excellent cologne and a unique one. Yet, don’t just limit yourself to Veneta Pour Homme. Check out the best Pine colognes.
