Homme Sport 2021.
A wearable fragrance for active people.
Dior Homme Sport 2021 was released in 2022 – weird, I know. It is based on spices, citruses, and woody resins. It lasts eight to ten hours on the skin with moderate projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Dior Homme Sport 2021 Smell Like?
The opening is equal parts citric bergamot and lemon with spicy pink pepper in the background. Often, pink pepper has a sweet tinge, but I don’t get that here. It is more of a subtle and attention-grabbing aroma.
The background is a resinous elemi note and olibanum. What does this smell like? A smooth lemon wax with a slight smokiness from olibanum. The closest thing I can think of is clean laundry from a lemon-scented detergent. Yet, this never smells like detergent or soapy.
The mid and into the dry down gain a clean, woodsy aroma. The rest of the wear finishes with a lemony wax smell and clean wood.

Performance
The longevity is in the eight to ten-hour range with moderate projection. The first three to four hours, push out two to three feet. It is similar to the original with its very wearable aroma. After this period, it recedes but maintains a light ambiance for the rest of the wear.
The sillage is as good. The more you move around, the better this smells. It won’t fill a room but make your presence known. This performance is with five sprays.
This is spring, summer, and fall wear for all occasions but formal events. The mass appeal and likability are excellent. This is like the original. There are no decisive notes, and easy-to-wear. I will go into more detail later about these two.
The uniqueness is average. It deviates enough from the Homme line to create a sportier cologne but is still consistent with the Homme DNA. In short, it is average to slightly above average uniqueness.
Final Words
How does this compare to the rest of the line? First, owning both Homme Sport and Homme EDT is not redundant. At first, I didn’t think I’d enjoy Homme Sport because I love Homme Cologne for summer and Homme EDT for all occasions.
Homme Sport is as summery as Homme Cologne but performs much better. It is also most similar to Homme EDT but much better for the heat or if you’re sweating.
You know when you have to walk to work in a suit, and you’re soaked in sweat when you get there? This is the fragrance for you. It lasts, smells classy, and fits your sweatiness during those times.
The final burning question is, is Dior Homme Sport 2021 worth it? Yes. Would I buy it before Dior Homme (2020) EDT? No. Do what you want with this information, but I assure you that buying Dior Homme Sport 2021 gives you what you pay for.
After you try Dior Homme Sport 2021, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
