Before Dior Homme 2020 launched, two other Dior Homme’s were on the market. The 2005 and 2011 versions, the 2011 version was a reformulation of 2005. Both grew to mass popularity because of their prominent iris notes.
As I said before, Dior Homme 2020 changed everything. Dior decided to exclude the prominent iris note and create a more simplistic smell.
Not only was Dior Homme 2020 reformulated, but Dior took it in a different direction. Most of the fragrance community was shocked. It wasn’t because it was a horrible fragrance but it didn’t meet expectations.
Soon after, Dior discontinued Dior Homme original.
In 2020, Dior released an Intense and Parfum version. In 2021, Dior launched a sport version. And in 2022, released Dior Homme Cologne. It is the newest from the Dior Homme line. None of the three will be reviewed in this article – another post.

My Experience With Dior Homme EDT
At first, I didn’t think I would like Dior Homme, and that’s not because it’s a reformulation of the old one. It’s so wearable and simple that I thought it was boring at first.
As I wore it more, I came to enjoy wearing it as it is the perfect fragrance for a sweatshirt and jeans when you’re in a rush, so you spray and go.
In short, I love having Dior Homme in my collection and will replace my bottle with a new one when the current one runs out.
