Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP was released in 2021. It is based on warm spices, amber, and wood. It lasts eight to ten hours on the skin, with room-filling projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP Smell Like?
A simple, linear, and mysterious scent.
The Most Wanted EDP immediately begins with a blast of cardamom leading the opening. Its slightly sweet nature evokes a warm and comforting aroma. There are nuances of toffee in the background. But the spices are so dominant that they can’t quite shine yet.
After a few minutes, alluring toffee shoves cardamom into the background. It jumps to the forefront, bringing amber wood with it. The rest of the wear is just this pair with faint spice. At this point, the base is an excellent balance between spicy and sweet accents. To my nose, it’s woody and creamy.

Performance
The Most Wanted EDP lasts 8 – 10 hours on the skin with room-filling projection. The entire wear pushes an arm’s or more. Near the end, it does recede closer to the skin. I get this performance with three sprays. With this fragrance, a little goes a long way.
This is exclusively fall and winter wear. The sweetness and depth of the notes are cloying in the warmer temperatures. If you live in a four-season climate, you’ll get a solid five months of wear.
As for occasions, this is all but office wear and any other situation in a confined space. This is a loud fragrance and needs room to air out. This has the perfect seductive aroma for formal occasions and dates. However, on a date, you’ll want to tone down the sprays so that you don’t announce your presence the entire time.
Lastly, mass appeal and likability are excellent. It wouldn’t have made my “most complimented colognes” list if it wasn’t so. This is a sweet and delicious fragrance that most people won’t be able to get enough of. There are no decisive notes in the fragrance.
Generally, sweet fragrances tend to get the second most compliments behind ambroxan-based fragrances.
Azzaro The Most Wanted Clones
The most recent flanker from the line “The Most Wanted Parfum” shares a similar DNA but isn’t the best clone. They are both winter-focused, but the Parfum version has an intense vanilla note not found in the EDP version.
Outside of The Most Wanted line is Stronger with You Intensely. Both are similar fragrances. This one also has a prominent vanilla note and replaces cardamom spice with cinnamon spice. However, they are identical in their use of the sweet toffee note.
Final Words
Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP is worth it. This is one of the most complimented fragrances and one of the best winter colognes. It is priced as a typical quality designer fragrance. But the best part is you get more than what you pay for!
My favorite part of the fragrance is its simplicity and its unique use of toffee as the sweet note. Typically, vanilla is used, and it’s always good -like the Parfum version. But this is different and intriguing.
