Mr. Burberry EDT.
A formal bottle with all-occasion wearability.
Burberry Mr. Burberry EDT was released in 2016. It is based on wood, aromatics, and fresh spices. It lasts five to six hours on the skin with moderate to light projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Burberry Mr. Burberry EDT Smell Like?
The opening is an unforgettable, intense grapefruit note. It is slightly synthetic but not off-putting. Herbal and slightly green mint is playing second fiddle in the background, providing a cool freshness to the fragrance. In the background is a duo of warm cedar and sandalwood. It pairs perfectly with the grapefruit.
The dominant woody and grapefruit pair lead into the mid. There isn’t much development but a light addition of spice. I can’t determine if it’s nutmeg or cardamom as it gets enveloped by the dominant woody notes. Either way, it adds an intriguing touch. This spice is never in your face.
The dry-down retains its fresh and woody nature. I pick up more distinct vetiver nuances as they are warmer and slightly smoky. The rest of the wear is fresh, warm woods and subtle spices lingering.

Performance
Mr. Burberry EDT lasts five to six hours on the skin with light projection. It pushes out but isn’t obnoxious. The first hour it creates a two-foot scent bubble. After this period, it recedes to a soft ambiance of one foot for the rest of the wear. This performance is with five sprays.
This is all-season wearability except for the hottest days of summer and the coldest days of winter. You’ll also have to moderate your sprays depending on the weather. You’ll get nine to ten months of wear in a four-season climate.
As for occasions, it is all. One of its better aspects is its wearability. Spray this on, and you’re good to go. Subtle enough for the office but still sophisticated for dates and formal occasions.
Lastly, mass appeal and likability are average. This is a steady, eddy fragrance. It doesn’t shout for attention but smells good to everyone in your vicinity. It gets “Oh, you smell nice” compliments.
Final Words
The most similar fragrance is Mr. Burberry EDP. It has the same aromatic and woody note dominance but with more prominent spices.
The final burning question is, is Burberry Mr. Burberry EDT worth it? No. If it was one of those sliding survey scales, I would be at “slightly dislike.” The blend of notes is interesting, but that’s all it has going for it. Everything else about the fragrance is average and slightly expensive for the performance and scent.
