Extreme Pour Homme.
A simple and unique summer fragrance.
Bvlgari Extreme Pour Homme was released in 1999. It is based on citruses, spices, and woods. It lasts eight to ten hours with moderate projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Bvlgari Extreme Pour Homme Smell Like?
Bvlgari Extreme Pour Homme’s opening is all about a bright duo of green tea and straightforward citrus. Initially, I smelled green tea the most, but that changed over time.
As for the citrus, let me explain in more detail.
It has no additional accents, tart, bitter, sweet, etc… It’s just citrus and simple. After five minutes, the mid develops. Lending nuances of spices while the top notes are still present.
The scent tree has three to four spice notes, but I can only pick out black pepper. The others are a variety in the background.
Spices carry over into the base and are met by soft woods – sandalwood and cedar. The specific notes from the opening are gone.
However, they left their fresh accord. Finishing off is a subtle musk note that smells like clean sheets.

Extreme Pour Homme Performance
How Long Does Bvlgari Extreme Pour Homme Last?
Extreme Pour Homme lasts eight to ten hours on the skin. For a citrus-based fragrance, this is excellent longevity. The projection is moderate. It pushes out two to three feet for a large amount of wear.
After hours four to five, it recedes to a light ambiance, never becoming a skin scent.
The sillage isn’t as good. There is a woody depth, but it doesn’t stick in the air well. The scent trail only projects as well as the scent bubble.
This performance is with three sprays. Another surprise as you don’t have to apply this too heavily, even though it’s a fresh fragrance.
When Should I Wear Bvlgari Extreme Pour Homme?
This is spring, summer, and early fall wear. You’ll get five to six months of wear if you live in a four-season climate. As for occasions, it is all. Its combination of sophistication and subtleness gives it this ultra-versatility.
Is Bvlgari Extreme Pour Homme Likable?
The mass appeal and likability are as good as every other performance factor. Similar to the versatility, it is subtle and quality everyone can enjoy but won’t be overwhelmed.
The opening is incredibly good at garnering compliments since it is very refreshing.
Is Bvlgari Extreme Pour Homme Unique?
Lastly, this is a more unique fragrance than it’s not. There’s nothing special about the citrus, aromatic, and wood combination.
But the Tea note sticks out in the opening and makes the opening what it is. If it weren’t for this unique twist, this cologne wouldn’t be as pleasant.
Final Words
There are no Extreme Pour Homme dupes. The most similar fragrances are the original and the “soir” versions. They all share the same DNA but with their respective tweaks.
The final burning question is, is Bvlgari Extreme Pour Homme worth it? Yes.
This is one of my favorite go-to’s in the summer. It’s simple and refreshing, with a woody depth that helps it last. I hope with this article, this fragrance can get as much attention as it deserves.
