Le Beau Le Parfum.
The best summer fragrance for men.
Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Le Parfum was released in 2022. It is based on wood, coconut, amber, and vanilla. It lasts nine hours on the skin with above-average projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Le Parfum Smell Like?
Upon the first spray, it is all about pineapple with coconut underneath. The pineapple is fruity, juicy, and sweet. At the same time, coconut has a creamy nature that soothes the intensity of pineapple. It has a dose of sweetness, but the scent is so sweet it doesn’t matter much.
Ginger spices coat the edges. They are only present for a few minutes before fading. They grabbed my attention but didn’t add much to the scent. The main idea in the opening is an intense tropical aroma.
The coconut and pineapple share the same fate not long after the ginger fades. Yet, they leave their sweetness. Sandalwood and tonka bean fill the whole of the missing top notes.
Sandalwood contributes a heavy wood note. It will be dominant for the rest of the wear. The tonka bean has a vanillic nature, projecting a similar idea as coconut. Amber nuances in the background glue everything together.
The rest of the wear is woody and vanillic with sweet and ambery nuances.

Performance
Le Beau Le Parfum lasts nine hours on the skin with above-average projection. It retains a multiple-foot scent bubble for a large portion of the wear. It recedes towards the end, never becoming a skin scent.
The sillage is as good. The density of the sweetness does a great job of sticking in the air as you walk around. The more you move, the better this smells and projects. This performance is with two sprays. Even though it is a warm weather scent, you still have to be mindful of the sprays as they will get too intense.
This is all-season wear. On the coldest days of winter, apply one more spray. As for occasions, it is all. This is an extremely attractive fragrance and shines on a summer date. But it’s still subtle enough to work in the office or other close-quarter settings.
The best performance factor is the mass appeal and likability. Yes, it’s a likable fragrance, but if you want a scent that gets compliments, this is needed in your collection.
Lastly, this has above-average uniqueness. The tropical nature of the coconut is not uncommon, but the sandalwood base and iris top note make this stand out above any other similar fragrance.
Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Le Parfum Clones
The most similar fragrance is the original Le Beau. The biggest difference is its lack of depth. Le Parfum has prominent woody and amber notes not found in the original; I find Le Parfum significantly better.
Outside of the line is Paco Rabanne Invictus Victory Elixir. This is a new 2023 release. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to try it yet. Thus, I can’t compare the similarities and differences.
Final Words
This is a simple choice. Le Beau Le Parfum is worth it. I can argue that it’s a better purchase than Le Male Le Parfum, one of my favorite fragrances. Both are extremely alluring colognes with great performance. Yet, Le Beau Le Parfum is more versatile.
This debate is for another article, but it’s worth a thought.
Le Beau Le Parfum is an excellent cologne and a good one for the summer. Yet, don’t just limit yourself to Le Beau Le Parfum. Check out the best Summer fragrances for men. All will shine in the warm weather – no pun intended; you might just find your signature scent.
