What Does Mancera Lemon Mint Aoud Smell Like?
Upon the first spray is a bright and zesty lemon and orange kick.
They dominate the first few minutes with spicy pepper coating the edges. Their intensity won’t “slap you in the face” but keep the citruses in check.
Sweet and nutty almond washes over these fresher accents after the first few minutes. They are moderate at first, gaining strength as the wear continues.
Do you want to take a guess at what you won’t smell? Mint. It’s in the name but not the scent tree. The black pepper was reminiscent of spicy mint but not the same thing.
Oud leads the heart with deep woody and dark faucets but never earthy or animalic. Vanilla and floral jasmine follow a close second behind.
In combination with almonds, it is very creamy. This trio smoothes out all of the Oud’s “rough edges.” The florals are loud when they first appear. Into the base, they weaken.
This places a heavier emphasis on warm oud notes with fresh and sweet accents. In the last few hours of the wear, aromatic vetiver snuck in. It only amplifies the freshness.
The rest of the wear is fresh aromatics, vanilla, and dominant Oud.
