1 Million.
One of the most popular fragrances for men.
Paco Rabanne 1 Million was released in 2008. It is based on spices, citruses, and amber. It lasts 12+ hours on the skin with excellent projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Paco Rabanne 1 Million Smell Like?
One million is all about the opening. The top notes are bright, sweet, and spicy all at the same time. The brightness comes from a fusion of bright grapefruit and blood orange. Exclusively, this combination is pungent. Yet, when combined with an array of spices and hints of mint, there is a vibrance.
There’s not much of a mid; it’s a slow transition from top notes to base notes.
The top notes lead into a quiet base. Most of the smell rests on a base of leather and amber. They are light but provide excellent support for the exotic opening. From the top, grapefruit has faded, but all other notes have lingered into a weakened form.

performance
1 Million lasts 12+ hours on the skin with excellent projection. It has a room-filling projection for the first three to four hours. After this period, it recedes but maintains an arm’s length or more ambiance for the rest of the wear.
The sillage is just as good. This rich, dense fragrance leaves a long scent trail as you move around. The more you move, the better this smells and the further it projects. This performance is with three sprays.
This is fall and winter wear. As for occasions, it is all. You’ll have to moderate your sprays in close-quarter settings as this gets intense. Open areas and rooms do exceptionally well and let this beautiful juice air out.
Lastly, mass appeal and likability are excellent. This is an alluring blend of notes that will garner a ton of compliments. Apparently, when it was first released, it was the go-to clubbing scent. And if it was a go-to, this speaks to its attractive aroma.
Paco Rabanne 1 Million Clones
There are enough 1 Million dupes to create an article about them. According to fragrantica, the most similar is The Golden Secret Antonio Banderas. However, I can’t compare the two as I don’t have experience with the dupe.
Final Words
Paco Rabanne 1 Million is worth it. It’s not the highest-quality fragrance or the best one on the market, but everything about it holds its own. I enjoy the unique mixture of citruses and spices in the opening that sets this apart from many other strong, winter-focused fragrances.
After you try Paco Rabanne 1 Million, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
