What Does Dior Homme Intense Smell Like?

Upon the first spray is a prominent iris note. It is dense and powdery.

Yet, it never makes the scent feminine. It is like that of Prada L’Homme’s. Nuances of aromatic lavender surround the edges. They only provide balance for the floral iris note. This is the main idea for the first few minutes.

After this period, fruity sweet pear and musk nuances waft their way in. It takes the scent in a fresher direction, tempering the intensity of the florals.

Into the dry down, the powdery nature fades. The scent simplifies into warm cedar and earthy vetiver. The rest of the wear is fresh wood with musky accents.

How Long Does Dior Homme Intense Last?

Homme Intense lasts 12+ hours on the skin with excellent projection. It has a room-filling projection for the first three to four hours.

After this period, it recedes but maintains an arm’s length or more ambiance for the rest of the wear.

The sillage is just as good. This rich, dense fragrance leaves a long scent trail as you move around. The more you move, the better this smells and the further it projects.

This performance is with two sprays.

Is Dior Homme Intense Winter or Summer?

This is all-season wear. Especially on the cold days of winter, this has the power to cut through the cold air like a blade.

As for occasions, it is all. You’ll have to moderate your sprays in the summer heat and close-quarter settings as this gets intense. Open areas and rooms do exceptionally well and let this beautiful juice air out.

Is Dior Homme Intense Seductive?

Lastly, mass appeal and likability are excellent. This is a beautiful, wearable, quality blend of florals and cedar. Dior Homme EDT’s best attribute is its easy wearability. This is just the same but more intense.

The 2011 version of Dior Homme Intense is discontinued. However, it has been replaced by the 2020 version. It can not purchased in the United States. Unless purchased on discounters.

If you want a more subtle performance but the same aroma, Dior Homme EDT is an excellent choice.

The final burning question is, is Dior Homme Intense worth it?

Yes. I love this solely for the performance. The original Homme EDT is an amazing fragrance but geared for the office, and it’s too subtle for many other situations. However, this is much louder with the same aroma.

Instead of choking myself out with too many sprays of Homme EDT, I can put on a few sprays of Homme Intense and get a better performance.

The biggest downfall? It’s difficult to get in the United States; you’ll have to purchase it on discounters.
