What Does Versace Eros Parfum Smell Like?
The opening starts with a blast of lemon. It is the first note I can smell before a more intense spicy mint joins. The intensity of lemon was fleeting; mint washes over it.
This duo sits atop a sweet vanilla backbone. The edges have hints of fruity apple but nothing that amounts to much.
As the wear continues, the lemon will weaken. Mint fills its void but heads in a more green, aromatic direction. The vanilla gets stronger but more so gets denser.
Give the scent about 15 minutes, and you’ll have lost all the citrus and fruit nuances. Warm amber fills its void, amplifying the vanillic depth. Spicy mint is not so spicy anymore.
Instead, it is all about its aromatic nature. These notes will mix and mingle into the dry down.
When the dry down comes around, you’ll have smelt 90% of the fragrance. There is a tonka bean note that adds after a couple of hours. It is never a major player but adds woody nuances.
The rest of the wear is vanilla and amber with woody nuances.
