Touch for Men.
Burberry’s best gentleman’s fragrance.
Burberry Touch for Men was released in 2000. It is based on spices, aquatics, and musk. It lasts six to eight hours on the skin, with moderate projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Burberry Touch for Men Smell Like?
The opening emphasizes freshness with a combination of mandarin orange, and pepper. The orange is the most dominant, providing a zest and citrus blast. The pepper is sharp but not “nose-puckering.”
After the first few minutes, the top duo weakens. Allowing room for violet leaf to bring its way in. It has a fresh ozonic, and green nature that makes the scent slightly soapy when combined with the top notes.
If you’re familiar with Dior Fahrenheit EDT, which uses a violet leaf note to create the gasoline accord, in Touch for Men, Violet Leaf is used vastly differently.
I digress. The base develops a significant woodiness and muskiness. The most prominent wood is a warm cedar. The musk note is less prevalent but works well with the soapy tone from before, giving it a masculine and clean smell.
The rest of the wear is ozonic, clean, woody, and slightly sweet from adding tonka bean nuances.

Performance
Touch for Men lasts six to eight hours on the skin with moderate to light projection. The first hour it pushes out up to an arm’s length. After this period, it recedes to a soft ambiance of one foot for the rest of the wear. This performance is with five sprays.
This is all-season wear except for the hottest days of summer and the coldest days of winter. You’ll get nine to ten months of wear in a four-seasons climate.
As for occasions, it is all. This is an excellent office fragrance as it is subtle, mass-appealing, and clean. Speaking of mass appeal and likability, this is slightly above average. It’s not a fragrance that attracts attention; those who smell you will love your clean and simple aroma.
Final Words
The final burning question is, is Burberry Touch for Men worth it? Maybe. Right off the bat, it is quality, a decent performer, and affordable. But my only hesitation is its maturity and simplicity.
As a man in his 20s, it is a bit mature for me. As for simplicity, I love it, but it won’t stand out to those with decent collections. So, what does this all mean? This is a great fragrance for older gentlemen who want an affordable, easy-to-wear office fragrance.
If you don’t fit that mold, I doubt you’ll get your money’s worth from the fragrance.
If you try Burberry Touch for Men, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
