Weekend for Men.
A simple and fresh fragrance.
Burberry Weekend for Men was released in 1997. It is based on citruses, subtle greens, and a wood backbone. It lasts five hours on the skin with light to intimate projection. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Burberry Weekend for Men Smell Like?
The opening is a ton of citruses in both the scent tree and smell. I mostly get lemon with bergamot sitting underneath. Other fruits contribute the first few minutes but aren’t prevalent enough to pick out individually. They have a sweet tinge but never amount too much. The larger fresh and citrus emphasis overtakes the fruits and sweetness.
Within 15-20 minutes, Weekend for Men transcends into the mid. Earthy oakmoss and sandalwood emerge. There’s still lots of citruses and a noticeable greenness.
The dry-down finishes with citric lemon, green ivy, and a woody sandalwood and oakmoss duo.

Performance
Weekend for Men lasts five hours on the skin with light to intimate projection. The first two hours, it barely pushes out two feet. After this period, it recedes and becomes a skin scent for the rest of the wear. The sillage doesn’t fair much better. This doesn’t leave a great ambiance as you move around. This performance is with five sprays.
This is exclusively late spring and summer wear. I wouldn’t wear this in the cooler weather as you’ll have to apply so many sprays that it’ll be a waste. As for occasions, it is for all.
This is a mass-appealing and likable scent. The overarching emphasis is dominant citruses, which is a hard accord to be decisive. Lastly, the uniqueness is below average. Though wearable, it is nothing special.
Where Should I Buy Burberry Weekend for Men?
Final Words
The final burning question is, is Burberry Weekend for Men worth it? I’m not sure. It has a great cost for value; at the time of writing, a 100mL bottle only costs $28. However, there’s nothing special about the fragrance.
I know some people are on a budget, but I recommend paying $50 and getting Versace Pour Homme instead. Slightly better performance, same smell, and better quality.
If you try Burberry Weekend for Men, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
