What Does Dolce & Gabbana K EDP Smell Like?
As a whole, K EDP gives off a clean clothes vibe.
Right off the bat, lemon is at the forefront with blood orange. It only helps dial down the intensity of the lemon. After this, it doesn’t take long before clean aromatics come in and dial up the freshness.
At first, they are light but get stronger as the wear continues. After the first few minutes, it starts to get more interesting. It is not every day that you hear about a fig milk note.
Hearing this, you probably think, “Oh, it will be fruity.” That’s what I thought, too, but no. This has a sweet woodiness that is raw and natural.
Fresher florals follow close behind, and as the scent develops, this duo has a kind of herbal cleanness.
The base finishes with most of the notes from before. At this point, it is all about warmer woody and herbal qualities. The rest of the wear is fresh and aromatic atop sweet woodiness.

The performance is slightly above average. I routinely get seven to eight hours on the skin with an average size scent bubble. It won’t blow anyone away, but they’ll know you’re there.
It is pushing out about an arm’s length for the first few hours.
After this period, it does weaken. This performance is with four sprays. You could apply a bit heavier, but I’m sure you’ll get that much more performance for it to be worth it.
When Can I Wear K EDP?
Well, it is good for all seasons. Just apply a bit heavier on the coldest days of winter.
As for occasions, this is great office or casual wear. I wouldn’t wear it for a special occasion because it doesn’t have the sophistication to stand out.
Is K EDP Likable?
Despite this being a Dolce & Gabbana fragrance, it’s not that popular. A lot of guys know about it. But not many wear it. So, if you want something to set yourself apart, this will partially do so.
Why only partially? Because this is still a blue fragrance and shares some similarities to fragrances like YSL Y EDP.
Lastly, how is the mass appeal? Great, this is extremely likable. It’s just a woody and masculine fresh fragrance that is difficult not to like.

The EDP version is by far and wide the better fragrance. The EDT version still has a bright opening with citruses. The most significant differences come in the mid and dry-down.
In the EDP version, there’s a prominent fig milk note. Whereas the EDT version has a spicy mid.
The bases are similar, but the EDP version has slightly smoother woods.
Comparing performance, the EDP version can be worn for nearly all seasons and occasions and has similar longevity and projection.
The EDT version is slightly more citrus-focused. It’s almost exclusively for spring and summer wear.

Is Dolce and Gabbana K EDP worth it? No, it is one of the worst blue fragrances on the market and costs nearly the same as the best. The performance is average, and the scent is nothing groundbreaking or high-quality.
The EDP version is better than the EDT version but still not buy-worthy. If you gravitate towards this strong aromatic and woody aroma.
I recommend trying out YSL Y EDP. It’s slightly more expensive, but it works for everything and is the best blue fragrance on the market.
