Another 13.

A scent that is everything and nothing at the same time.

Le Labo Another 13 is a men’s fragrance based on musk and amber for almost the entire wear. In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

Quick Summary

  • Based on amber and musk notes.
  • Extremely wearable.

What Does Another 13 Smell Like?

One of the biggest challenges of this scent is describing it. The blend is so well mixed that it is difficult. My nose smells everything and nothing at the same time.

The opening has a few accords. There is a warm woodiness in the background with a powdery light floral sweetness.

Neither is layered on the other but rather a well-blended mix. As the opening and mid mix and mingle, there’s a smell reminiscent of newspaper and/or manila folders.

Into the dry down, it settles into a more profound and cleaner mix.

The floral sweetness has turned ambery. And a subtle but delicate musk has become prominent. It projects an ultra-clean dryer sheet smell. Fleeting doses of musk were present throughout.

Yet, they don’t settle down and become prominent until later in the wear.

Another 13 Performance

Is Another 13 Long Lasting?

The smell is fantastic, and the performance is extremely wearable. Another 13 lasts eight hours on the skin with light to moderate projection that pushes out two feet consistently for multiple hours.

What Season Is Another 13 For?

Another 13 Le Labo is all-season and occasion wearable. If anything, you may have to apply one more spray on the coldest days of the year, but other than that, this is extremely versatile.

Is Another 13 Likeable?

Amber and musk are common notes, but how they are blended together is ultra-unique. On top of this, only a few men wear Another 13.

Lastly, compliments. The charming and unique aroma has a thing for sparking curiosity. It wouldn’t have made my “most complimented colognes” list if it wasn’t extremely liked.

Is Another 13 Le Labo Worth It?

It is worth the money but not a must-have. On the official website, it costs $310 for a 100mL bottle.

The smell is fantastic and unique. While the performance holds its own with ultra-versatility. This fragrance is completely free of major downfalls. It only comes down to whether you want to pay the price.

FAQs

Arizona Bloom Floral Street is the best alternative.

Le Labo Another 13 vs. Santal 33

Another 13 has a heavy focus on amber and musk. The entire aroma has a very soft and enveloping aroma. Santal 33 is dominantly sandalwood notes. It, too, is an alluring aroma but is more of a smoother wood than soft musk.

Another 13 is the best fragrance for wearability and attracts more attention.
