Missoni Wave.
An underrated summer fragrance.
Missoni Wave was released in 2020; it is an aromatic, aquatic fragrance. It lasts seven hours on the skin with average but consistent projection.
In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it. Let’s get started.

What Does Missoni Wave Smell Like?
The opening is all about citruses atop an aquatic base. The scent spares no time in showing you what it’ll be about. If you expect anything unique in the opening, you won’t get it. There is no sweetness.
Thankfully, its lack makes the scent that much better for the summer.
The scent picks up a green and sea salt tinge as the scent develops. This takes it in a more oceanic direction than aquatic. The remaining citruses are great at not letting it get too mineral or metallic.
After one to two hours, a woody depth makes its way in. The rest of the wear is fresh aquatics atop a woody depth.

Missoni Wave Performance
The performance is slightly above average for a fresh, summery, and citrus-based fragrance. On the skin, it lasts 7 hours with average but consistent projection. It pushes out two feet for much of the wear before receding.
Even though the performance is slightly above average, the versatility still lacks. Missoni Wave is exclusively spring and summer wear for casual situations.
It’s a typical summer fragrance with no “oomph” factor that makes it stand out. Just a fragrance that fits the summer vibe.
Wave is a likable fragrance because it is fresh and welcoming, but I wouldn’t call it an attention magnet. I’ve received compliments from this, yet they’ve always been lowkey, “You smell nice.”
Missoni Wave Clones
Missoni Wave is nearly interchangeable with two other fragrances. Chanel Allure Homme Sport and Versace Pour Homme.
Chanel Allure Homme Sport has a similar aromatic and citrus aroma but has a vanillic nuance that adds a touch of sweetness. This gives Allure Homme Sport an additional touch of charm over Missoni Wave.
The only difference with Versace Pour Homme is that it doesn’t have the woody note in the base.
Final Words
On discounters, a 100mL bottle can be purchased for around $50. For a fragrance of this quality, Missoni Wave is definitely worth it.
This is one of the main reasons I enjoy the fragrance so much: it gives me an excellent cologne for an affordable price that I don’t have to feel bad about wearing everywhere and anywhere because I’m “wasting” too quickly.
I recommend Missoni Wave as it is one of the best summer fragrances for men.
