Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Signature

Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Signature Review – Do You Need It?

Uomo Signature.

A well-priced winter gourmand fragrance for men.

Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Signature was released in 2018. It’s based on warm spices and gourmands. It lasts eight hours on the skin with average projection.

In this review, I will describe its smell and performance and if it’s worth it.

What Does Uomo Signature Smell Like?

The opening is strong and masculine but also sweet at the same time. In this case, the sweetness is more charming than playful. Orange and pink pepper are the first initial blast.

Within a minute, the top notes are overtaken by more prominent notes.

These are cypress with cinnamon and tonka bean. Often times you will pick up a coffee note as well.

One thing that is for sure is that this scent changes after the first few minutes and throughout the middle. The different notes are constantly competing with one another.

Once in the dry down, the scent settles. It is still sweet with coffee, tonka bean, and leather. All work together, and none overpower each other.

Leather is the heavier accord and acts as the base, while the other two work off with that. So, an interesting scent but still masculine and mature.

The official Uomo Signature notes:

TOP NOTES

  • Pink Pepper
  • Mandarin Orange
  • Grapefruit

MID NOTES

  • Cinnamon
  • Cardamom
  • Cypress

BASE NOTES

  • Tonka Bean
  • Leather
  • Coffee Beans
  • Patchouli

Uomo Signature Performance

Uomo Signature lasts eight hours on the skin with average projection. Only pushing out a couple of feet for the first few hours before receding. Light but pleasant for the situations it is meant for.

This performance is with three sprays.

With a heavy mix of coffee, tonka bean, and leather. It is exclusively for fall and winter wear. It is very cloying when heat is applied to the fragrance.

As for occasions, it’s as limited as seasonality. This works best for formal occasions because of the scent profile. However, this is why the projection isn’t so bad after all.

Lastly, the compliments and mass appeal are fantastic. This is why Uomo Signature is such a great fragrance, as it has an aroma that allures attention.

Uomo Signature Clones and Other Concentrations

Uomo Signature is a flanker of the original Uomo. This is the most similar fragrance. However, if you’re looking for a fragrance outside the brand. Halloween Man X is the best dupe.

The most significant difference is that Man X has a boozy sweetness.

Is Uomo Signature Worth It?

I enjoy wearing Uomo Signature. Its best attribute is its unique and alluring, formal aroma for an affordable price. If you’re a guy who attends a lot of formal occasions or dates in the winter months.

And want to smell good but don’t want to drop too much money, this is one of the best choices.

Depending on where you purchase, a 100mL bottle is about $50. In short, I recommend Uomo Signature for all men.
