Rasasi Hawas for Him Full Review: Everything You Need to Know

Hawas for Him.

An underrated gem for an affordable price.

Rasasi Hawas for Him is a citrus and aquatic fragrance for men. It is based on a bright, fruity, citrus opening. Aquatic mid and warm ambery base. This review will describe the smell and performance if it’s worth it.

Quick Summary

  • Based on citruses, fruits, aquatics, and amber.
  • Performance is outstanding for an aquatic fragrance.
  • Exclusively for warm weather wear.
  • A men’s cologne that’s worth its money.

What Does Rasasi Hawas Smell Like?

Two things are going on in the opening. The initial spray is led by a bright apple note. It is a crisp sweetness like a chilled apple.

The second thing is a duo of citruses. They are supportive but more prominent than background notes. They add a sparkling freshness to the opening.

All of the above is coated with cinnamon spice. It’s well-blended and smells as if it was dusted over the scent.

In the mid, there is almost a complete transition. The fruits and citruses fade. While non-salty aquatic notes wash over the heart. Instead of cinnamon in the mid, it is replaced with cardamom. This, too, will be subtle.

After one to two hours comes the dry down. It is led by an amber and musk duo. The musk is similar to that of Creeds. The amber comes from underneath and pushes water to the “surface.”

The amber coats your skin, and a musk/aquatic combination sits atop. The rest of the wear is musky aquatics with an amber base.

Rasasi Hawas for him Performance

How Long Does Rasasi Hawas Last?

Surprisingly, great performance from Hawas. On my skin, I routinely get 8 – 9 hours with moderate projection. It pushes off the skin three feet in the first three hours before receding.

This performance is with three sprays.

When To Wear Rasasi Hawas?

As for wearability, it is primarily warm weather, but if applied heavily, it can work in the cool fall and spring weather.

Because of the top notes, it’s summer-focused, but the ambery depth in the base allows it to withstand the cooler times of the year. Yet, definitely not a winter scent.

Hawas Rasasi can be worn for all occasions. Similar to the seasons, the top and mid notes are casual-focused. But then the amber and musk in the base give it the sophistication it needs to be an all-occasion wear.

Is Rasasi Hawas Likable?

Lastly, uniqueness and likability. It’s slightly better than average for both. The citrus, aquatics, and amber are nothing you haven’t smelled before, but the citrus and deep amber combination is slightly unique.

Likability, it won’t get you showered in compliments, but it won’t offend anyone either. On fragrantica, the rating is 4.40 out of 5 stars. Meaning this is one of the best fragrances for men.

Is Rasasi Hawas for Him Worth It?

Yes. A 3.33oz bottle can be purchased for $61. Considering its fantastic smell and great performance, this is a great purchase. It’s a similar price point as Versace Pour Homme, with a more unique aroma and better versatility.

FAQs

How Many Sprays of Rasasi Hawas?

I recommend 2 – 3 sprays. You can always apply more, but you can’t apply less.

Rasasi Hawas Clone?

Invictus Aqua Paco Rabanne is the best Rasasi Hawas dupe. The two have a very similar development, from fresh and citrus to a warm amber base.

However, Invictus replaces the fruits in Hawas with more citruses and some spices. While the base lacks a heavy musk note.

Is Rasasi a Good Brand?

Rasasi has released some decent fragrances. Most of the time, they are quality and worth it for the price paid.

However, they knock it out of the park less than other luxury brands. Their claim to fame is Hawas for Him and La Yuqawam Homme (Ombre Leather dupe). Besides, these two they aren’t a popular brand.

Speaking of dupes. Is Rasasi a clone brand? No. They may be inspired but aren’t as prolific as Armaf, Lattafa Perfumes, and Al Haramain.
